Dunărea rămâne la un nivel extrem de scăzut. Debitul la intrarea în România va fi de trei ori sub media lunii august

The Danube's flow at Baziaș is expected to remain at 1300 m3/s for three days, rising to 1350 m3/s by August 25, still below the historical average. This low flow has led to the shutdown of two reactors at the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant, which contributed about 20% of dispatchable energy. The Ministry of Energy assures that the National Energy System has sufficient resources to cover the production deficit, including wind energy and hydro production. Additionally, there is a high cross-border capacity of around 4,000 MW for electricity imports.
