Dunărea, la un minim istoric la Porțile de Fier. Debitul ar putea scădea și în următoarele zile • Newsweek România

The Danube has reached a historic low at the Iron Gates, with forecasts indicating further decreases in water flow. Currently, the river's flow is at 1,350 cubic meters per second, significantly below the historical minimum recorded in 2003. This situation poses challenges for hydroelectric power generation, as the river's flow is expected to decline further in the coming days. The National Institute of Hydrology predicts a drop to 1,300 cubic meters per second by the weekend. Additionally, the Cernavodă nuclear power plant has had to shut down one of its reactors due to low water levels, leading to energy supply concerns in Romania.
