Despite initial plans to extend operations by nine days through technical measures, only two to three additional days were gained. The shutdown process will begin Thursday morning, as safety is prioritized in nuclear operations. The reactor's gradual shutdown is expected to prevent stress on the plant and the National Energy System, with complete disconnection anticipated around noon.
