Dublu cutremur în Venezuela - Ultimul bilanţ oficial indică 6.438 de morţi
The recent double earthquake in Venezuela has resulted in 6,438 deaths, with ongoing rescue efforts to find missing bodies. The previous death toll was 6,301. Over 190 buildings collapsed due to the quakes, which had magnitudes of 7.2 and 7.5. Approximately 60,000 homes were affected, with more than 24,000 deemed uninhabitable. Many residents are living in temporary camps under poor conditions, and recent heavy rains have damaged these shelters. The interim government has pledged to provide housing for victims, but only 335 out of the promised 4,000 homes have been made available so far.
