The Radial Road 1 – West Express project is open for public debate until September 29, 2026. The project aims to extend Timișoara Boulevard to the A0 highway, covering 9.7 kilometers with dedicated lanes for public transport and bike paths. It will enhance connectivity between residential areas and economic hubs, improving life quality in surrounding regions. Traffic management measures will be necessary to prevent congestion on Timișoara Boulevard. Additionally, the Sector 6 City Hall is advancing the Ciurel Passage project to further alleviate traffic on Iuliu Maniu Boulevard. A collaboration with Bucharest Municipality is proposed for proper integration of the new road into existing infrastructure.
