The road between Codlea and Vulcan will remain open during the bridge rehabilitation works, thanks to a revised traffic management plan. Authorities have proposed two alternative solutions to ensure ongoing traffic flow while maintaining safety. One option involves phased construction with traffic lights, allowing work on one side of the bridge at a time. The second option includes creating a temporary bypass downstream of the bridge. This approach aims to minimize disruptions during winter and ensure safe mobility for residents. The project management will adapt the work pace to align with seasonal conditions, ensuring normal traffic flow without major restrictions.
