Drumul de Centură București: lucrări până în 2028

The construction of the Bucharest Ring Road is facing delays, with some contracts extended until 2028. Current progress on Lot 2 shows 19.32% physical completion and 11.26% financial completion. The completion date is set for March 2027, but further extensions may occur. No penalties have been imposed for delays so far. The project has seen multiple contractors, with the previous one going bankrupt. Lot II South is projected to finish by 2028, with current physical progress at 48.70%. The A1-DN7 section will be re-tendered, with the bidding process expected to start in November 2026.
