Râmnicu Vâlcea will have a modern road connection to the Sibiu-Pitești Highway via the Tigveni junction. The government approved the technical-economic indicators for the modernization of DN 73C, involving an investment of over 769 million lei. This project includes the rehabilitation of approximately 13.4 kilometers of road and the construction of a new 2.39-kilometer link to the highway. The project aims to accommodate increased traffic from the new highway sections. Local officials express optimism about the project's swift implementation, emphasizing its importance for regional connectivity. Funding will come from European sources and the state budget, with the National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration as the beneficiary.
