A degraded road in Argeș and Vâlcea is set for modernization, linking the Pitești-Sibiu highway to the Olt Valley. The government approved technical indicators for the rehabilitation of DN 73C, with an investment of 769 million lei for 13.4 km of road. The project aims to enhance regional connectivity and accommodate increased traffic from the new transport infrastructure. Funding will come from non-reimbursable external sources and the state budget, with completion expected in 14 months. The road will serve as a temporary route for traffic until the completion of major highway sections. Additionally, the fourth section of the highway is nearing completion, with 97% of work done, potentially opening ahead of schedule.
