The National Company for Road Investments has initiated expropriation for private properties along the Focșani-Brăila Expressway route, a key national infrastructure project. This expressway, part of Romania's investment plan, will connect major regions and improve transport efficiency. The expropriation affects 3,297 properties, totaling over 8.5 million square meters, with compensation amounting to approximately 35.9 million lei. The project includes numerous structures and service areas, with a construction contract valued at 4.29 billion lei, funded through the Transport Program 2021-2027.
