On Thursday, multiple drones and unidentified objects entered Moldova's airspace amid Russian attacks on Ukraine. Authorities temporarily closed the northern airspace for security reasons. The Moldovan Defense Ministry reported four incidents involving unauthorized aerial incursions, starting at 06:14 with a drone from Ukraine. The airspace was reopened at 07:46 after monitoring the situation. The Ministry confirmed that the first drone crossed from Chernivtsi, Ukraine, and left Moldova shortly after. Other unidentified objects were also detected, prompting the closure of the northern airspace as a precautionary measure. Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely.
