A large-scale operation named "Balkan Bridge II" took place at Bulgarian border crossings, involving multiple countries and law enforcement agencies. Romanian police participated in the week-long initiative, which included cooperation from services in Europe, the USA, and the UK, with observers from Japan, Greece, and Romania. During the operation, seven illegal migrants were discovered hidden in vehicles, and authorities seized over 58 kg of drugs, more than 300,000 unstamped cigarettes, and various counterfeit goods. Additionally, items such as illegal firearms parts and boats for migrant transport were confiscated.
