In the 2026-2027 school year, children with special educational needs (SEN) will continue to receive various financial supports, including daily food allowances and funds for school supplies. Parents or legal representatives must submit applications to the educational institution between September 1-30, 2026. The daily food allowance is set at 32 lei, calculated based on school attendance. Additional funds are available for clothing, shoes, and other necessities, with amounts varying by age. Children with SEN who also have a disability certificate may receive increased benefits. Applications can be submitted later for those obtaining their certificates after September 30.
