Romania has officially submitted its fifth payment request from the PNRR, amounting to 2.84 billion euros, as announced by interim Minister Dragoș Pîslaru. This request includes 75 targets and milestones, comprising 21 reforms and 54 investments, with 1.65 billion euros in non-repayable European grants and 433 million euros in loans. The submission marks a significant increase in grant absorption, reaching 78% from 47% a year ago. Pîslaru highlighted the importance of maintaining the allocation of 13.57 billion euros in grants. After the submission, he continued working on the unified salary project at the Ministry of Labor.
