Romania is expected to achieve over 90% absorption of non-reimbursable funds from the PNRR, totaling approximately 13.56-13.57 billion euros, according to interim Minister Dragoș Pîslaru. He highlighted that while investments are on track, the main risk lies in uncompleted reforms, particularly the unified salary law. Pîslaru noted that two-thirds of the PNRR has been executed under the current government, contrasting with previous administrations that failed to implement necessary reforms and investments. He emphasized that issues with the PNRR stem from domestic management rather than external factors.
