He described the comparison of current proposals with an unassumed PSD project as hypocritical, emphasizing the budget constraints faced by the current government. Pîslaru pointed out that the previous administrations' budget mismanagement led to reduced funding for salary increases. He noted that discussions with unions about higher coefficients have not materialized into public projects, resulting in dissatisfaction among sectors. PSD leader Sorin Grindeanu stated that the Salary Law is unlikely to be adopted before the PNRR deadline due to tight timelines.
