Dragoș Ionică, a Romanian cybersecurity expert, impressed attendees at DEF CON 2023 in Las Vegas with his team's biohacking challenges. The event focused on ethical hacking to identify vulnerabilities in medical cybersecurity. Over 3,200 participants tackled 13 challenges simulating real hospital security issues, including accessing hospital Wi-Fi and cloning payment cards. Ionică's work received recognition, highlighting the evolution of biohacking in cybersecurity. He has 13 years of experience and currently works as a Senior Manager at Deloitte Romania.
