Douăzeci de ani în Uniune: harta care nu ne mai încape

As Romania approaches the 20th anniversary of its EU accession, significant economic disparities persist between regions. While the national GDP per capita has improved, regional inequalities remain stark, particularly between Bucharest-Ilfov and the North-East. The distribution of EU funds has favored already developed areas, exacerbating internal disparities. Structural issues in local governance and economic organization hinder equitable growth. Proposed solutions include targeted infrastructure investments and decentralized fund management to address underdevelopment. Learning from Poland and Germany's regional support strategies could help Romania tackle these challenges effectively.
