On August 9, Brașov Zoo celebrates International Zoo and Park Day with educational activities focused on biodiversity conservation and animal discovery. Visitors can engage in games, quizzes, and workshops designed to teach about animal adaptations, behavior, and the importance of protecting biodiversity. The event will also feature free solar observations by the Planetarium and interactive activities from various partners, including the Romanian Post and local police. Children under 14 and institutionalized youth under 18 will have free entry. The celebration continues on August 10 with World Lion Day, including workshops and discussions about the zoo's lions.
