Archaeologists in Turkey have made two significant discoveries at ancient sites: a 2,500-year-old statue in Sardis and a marble group depicting Asclepius and Telesphoros in Aspendos. The Sardis statue, found in fragments, dates back to 470-450 BC and showcases unique Lydian cultural influences. The Aspendos sculpture, approximately 1,800 years old, represents the healing deities and offers insights into Roman-era beliefs. These findings are part of Turkey's expanded archaeological efforts.
