Dos Santos broke the 400m hurdles record with a time of 45.80 seconds, surpassing Karsten Warholm's previous record. Masai Russell followed by setting a new 100m hurdles record at 12.09 seconds. The pole vault competition also saw impressive performances, with Emmanouil Karalis and Armand Duplantis both clearing 6.20 meters. Additionally, Audrey Werro came close to the 800m world record, finishing in 1:53.70. The event showcased remarkable athletic achievements in perfect weather conditions.
