Două proiecte din România, incluse pe lista priorităților strategice pentru aprovizionarea UE. Europarlamentar: Europa depinde de importurile de magneziu
Two Romanian projects have been recognized as strategic priorities for the European Union, focusing on electric battery recycling in Răcari and magnesium production in Beiuș. This decision aims to reduce Europe's dependency on magnesium imports, particularly from China. Europarliament member Dan Motreanu highlighted the importance of these initiatives and mentioned ongoing efforts to secure funding for mining projects in Romania. The EU's priority list was established in 2025, reflecting the strategic significance of these projects for the region.
