Two Turkish-flagged commercial vessels collided in the Sea of Marmara near Istanbul, resulting in 10 crew members missing. A search and rescue operation was initiated after authorities lost contact with the crew of one ship, Tugberk Imamoglu. The collision occurred around 3 AM local time, approximately 33 km south of Silivri. Coast guard vessels and helicopters were deployed to the area. Preliminary reports indicate that the other vessel, a tanker named Alsu, sustained no visible damage. The situation remains critical as efforts continue to locate the missing crew members.
