The construction of the light belt around Iași is delayed as two project lots need to be re-tendered due to lack of bidders. Costel Alexe, the president of the Iași County Council, announced this at the European Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels. One contractor withdrew from the project, necessitating a new bidding process. The project is funded by the North-East Regional Program, and Alexe expressed hope for its completion within the current financial exercise. Additionally, restoration works at the Iași Philharmonic are progressing faster than expected, with a total investment of 106 million lei.
