Două femei au fost concediate după 44 de ani de muncă. Acum vor primi peste 23.000 de euro
Two employees in Austria discovered discrepancies in their severance pay after 44 years with the same company. Following intervention from the Chamber of Labor, they received an additional €23,700. The issues arose during the final settlement calculations, where their accumulated rights under the old severance system were not properly accounted for. The Chamber of Labor highlighted that neither income tax nor salary progression was considered in the calculations. After reviewing the situation, the employer paid the owed amounts, with one employee receiving €14,000 and the other €9,700.
