On Wednesday evening, the Romanian Ministry of National Defense detected aerial targets over the Black Sea, with two entering national airspace. Spanish F-18s were deployed from Mihail Kogălniceanu Air Base. The National Military Command Center alerted the population in northeastern Tulcea County, issuing a RO-ALERT message. One target was lost from radar, while the other left national airspace towards Ukraine. A subsequent RO-ALERT was sent to Galați due to the target's trajectory. The Ukrainian air defense destroyed the target near Reni. This incident marked the fourth RO-ALERT message for Tulcea that day, urging residents to remain calm and seek shelter.
