Two historic buildings, including the former Ursuline Monastery, are for sale in Sibiu, with the County Council opting not to exercise its preemptive right. The council will discuss this decision in a meeting on August 27, stating that there is no identified need for these properties for county interests. One building on Faurului Street has historical significance as a former specialty shop, while another on Tipografilor Street is noted for its connection to poet Petöffy Sándor. The former monastery, which has a rich history dating back to the 15th century, is also not of interest to the council or the Ministry of Culture.
