Two new state-of-the-art power plants have been connected to the National Energy System, providing electricity and heating for residents in Constanța and Arad. The projects, funded through PNRR, were announced by interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan. The plants, CET Palas in Constanța and CET Hidrocarburi in Arad, are now operational, with full functionality expected by the winter season. The Constanța plant will have a cogeneration capacity of 97 MW, while the Arad plant will produce over 30 MW, significantly increasing energy output. These investments are crucial for modernizing heating systems and enhancing energy production capabilities.
