Două cazuri de prelevare de organe care au adus o nouă șansă la viață pentru pacienți români / Unul dintre donatori este din Bulgaria

The National Transplant Agency reports two organ donation cases that provided new life opportunities for Romanian patients. Families of brain-dead patients, including one from Bulgaria, consented to organ donation. The first case involved a 70-year-old patient in Iași, leading to two transplants. The second case occurred in Veliko Târnovo, Bulgaria, where organs from a 54-year-old donor were allocated to Romania due to a lack of compatible recipients. This collaboration resulted in three successful transplants for Romanian patients. The agency emphasizes the importance of these donations and thanks the involved medical teams and Bulgarian partners.
