Două biserici-monument din Sâmbăta de Sus (Brașov), restaurate cu bani europeni / 30 de milioane de lei pentru Biserica Apuseană și cea Răsăriteană

Two historic churches in Sâmbăta de Sus, Brașov County, will be restored with European funds, totaling nearly 30 million lei. The contracts were signed by the local mayor with the Regional Development Agency. The churches, dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries, will undergo foundation consolidation and wall rehabilitation. Accessibility for disabled individuals will also be improved, with completion expected by December 2029. Since Romania's EU accession, over 600 million euros have been invested in regional heritage, attracting many tourists.
