Dosarul Waldevar Energy: Cum a fost cerută mita de 450.000 euro
A bribery case involving Waldevar Energy has emerged, with a demand for 450,000 euros communicated via a tablet. The incident was reported to the National Anticorruption Directorate by Leon Ion Arhire, the company's sole shareholder. He described a meeting with Gregor Hudohmet, where he was handed a tablet to confirm a 2% commission agreement. Concerns were raised about the payment's visibility to authorities, especially if routed through a smaller firm. Both Hudohmet and Cristian Theodor Dragomir, the CEO, have been arrested for 30 days. The prosecutor noted that Arhire's statements align with recorded evidence, while Dragomir's lawyer requested a careful review of Arhire's credibility as a whistleblower.
