The Bucharest Tribunal has ordered the preventive arrest of seven individuals linked to a drug trafficking network supplying cocaine, cannabis, and hashish to Albanian traffickers. Among those arrested are Florin Sebastian Weiss, owner of GFB Transport SRL, and the group's leader, Gheorghe Cristian Măhălean, known as 'Matrix'. The arrests followed 16 searches across several counties, uncovering significant amounts of drugs and assets. The group, established in September 2023, coordinated drug transport operations while evading detection. Măhălean has been classified as a 'High Value Target' by Europol due to the serious threat posed by the network.
