Dosarul Tesloianu: Procurorii nu au reușit să lege decesul unor pacienți de implanturile cu stimulatoare cardiace extrase de la cadavre

Prosecutors have dismissed charges against cardiologist Dan Tesloianu for culpable homicide and bodily harm, citing lack of causality between patient deaths and his actions. Tesloianu is only facing charges for abuse of office and bribery. Another doctor, Eduard Belu, is charged with complicity. The investigation began after numerous complaints about Tesloianu's practices, which allegedly led to patient deaths. Expert reports indicated that the medical interventions were sometimes necessary, and no direct link was found between the implants and fatalities. Legal restrictions on reusing medical devices were noted, highlighting patient rights violations.
