Several employees of the Iași City Hall were questioned by DNA prosecutors regarding the disappearance of a significant amount of fuel oil from CET Iași's storage. Among those summoned were the spokesperson Sebastian Buraga and legal advisor Alexandra Chirilă. Buraga confirmed the investigation's focus but was unaware of the specifics of his summons. Earlier, on May 27, searches were conducted at the City Hall related to this case. Mayor Mihai Chirica was also questioned in April, clarifying that he provided details about the state reserve of fuel oil. Investigators are looking into the disappearance of hundreds of tons of fuel oil from state reserves at CET Iași.
