Dosarul Crevedia ajunge la judecata pe fond. Patronii stației GPL, acuzați de distrugere din culpă care a avut ca urmare un dezastru

The Răcari Court has initiated the trial regarding the Crevedia explosions that resulted in six deaths and significant property damage. The accused include the administrators of the GPL depot, who face charges of culpable destruction and failing to ensure safety measures. The case was sent to court by the General Prosecutor's Office in June 2024, and the defendants have contested various procedural aspects. Despite this, the court has upheld the legality of the prosecution's actions. Victims are seeking over 53 million euros in damages, and the defendants' assets remain under seizure. The case highlights serious regulatory failures in the operation of the GPL station, which was functioning without proper authorization.
