Bihor police have expanded investigations into cigarette smuggling in Oradea, involving six suspects, two of whom were detained. The suspects allegedly sold contraband cigarettes in the Rogerius market area, causing a state budget loss of 194,632 lei. Following searches, authorities seized 144,680 cigarettes, cash, and mobile phones, placing a lien on the suspects' assets worth 90,285 lei. Initial raids in late August led to the discovery of nearly 3,500 cigarette packs and four individuals facing criminal charges.
