DNA is seeking the identities of those who delivered and received the gifts, as well as recent appointments within the Labor Inspection. The situation arose during a meeting attended by various regional heads of the Labor Inspection, where gifts were discreetly loaded into Bratu's service vehicle. Bratu, who was previously dismissed due to a scandal, was reinstated by the government, raising questions about the circumstances surrounding his return and the alleged gift-giving practices.
