Donald Tusk, indignat de o decizie din Ucraina care a ajuns să fie criticată chiar și de Ministerul de Externe de la Kiev
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk expressed outrage over a decision by Lviv to dedicate 2027 to Ukrainian Insurgent Army fighters, criticized even by Ukraine's Foreign Ministry. Tusk stated this harms Ukraine and aids its adversaries. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry labeled the decision as counterproductive, noting it undermines Polish-Ukrainian relations. The resolution was passed by a local authority without consulting central government institutions. The year 2027 marks the 85th anniversary of the UPA's founding and the 120th anniversary of its commander, Roman Shukhevych, who led the organization responsible for massacres against Poles.
