The Polish government, led by Donald Tusk, announced tax reductions for the middle class and increased corporate taxes to address budget deficits. The income tax threshold for the second bracket will rise, benefiting around 3.5 million taxpayers. Corporate tax for large companies will increase from 19% to 22%, while a solidarity tax for high earners will also rise. Tusk emphasized the need for careful fiscal management due to a significant budget deficit exceeding 7% of GDP.
