During a rally in Tennessee, President Trump proposed renaming the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean to "Trump Ocean" or "Ocean of the Americas." He expressed a desire for this change to occur before his term ends. This suggestion follows previous initiatives to rename geographical locations, including the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario. Trump has also proposed renaming the Strait of Hormuz and changing New Mexico to New America.
