Dominic Fritz, după desemnarea lui Luca Niculescu: USR nu va susține un guvern cu miniștri PSD sau controlat de PSD

USR's president, Dominic Fritz, stated that the party will not support any government involving PSD ministers or controlled by the social-democrats. He acknowledged Luca Niculescu's nomination as prime minister, praising his professional achievements, particularly in Romania's OECD accession. Fritz emphasized that USR will evaluate the proposed government program and team before making a decision. He firmly stated that USR will not back a government that allows PSD's return to power, insisting on the need for an independent government to address the country's crisis. Nicușor Dan nominated Niculescu after consultations with parliamentary parties, believing he has the best chance of securing a majority.
