He criticized the recent parliamentary vote on the ANI law, calling it a threat to the rule of law. Fritz emphasized the need for collaboration to counter extremist threats and criticized the PSD for lacking moral direction. He described the parliamentary vote as a mistake that could jeopardize Romania's access to EU funds. Fritz clarified that a letter sent to the European Commission aimed to highlight the consequences of non-compliance with EU law, not to block funds. USR is considering appealing to the Constitutional Court regarding the law.
