Fritz maintains he did not violate the law, claiming the contested urban plan was developed before his term. He accuses the PSD party of orchestrating a campaign against him and argues that the legal consequences for conflict of interest should not include termination of mandate. The prefect confirmed the sanction, stating that no mandates have been revoked in similar cases.
