Japanese author Keigo Higashino, a prominent figure in mystery literature, passed away at 68, as announced by Kodansha. He authored over 106 books, selling more than 100 million copies in Japan. His works have been adapted into films and translated into 41 languages. Higashino, born in Osaka, debuted in 1985 and received numerous awards, including the Edogawa Ranpo Prize. He preferred to let his writing speak for itself, aiming to surprise readers with his ideas. His latest novel, 'Eternal Memory', is set to be published next month.
