Two individuals were found unconscious in a cellar in Bârlad, likely due to carbon dioxide poisoning from wine fermentation. Emergency services were called to extract them, and they were handed over to medical teams. Authorities warned about the dangers of carbon dioxide accumulation in closed spaces during fermentation, advising proper ventilation and safety measures. Symptoms of carbon dioxide poisoning can range from headaches to severe cases leading to unconsciousness. Another incident occurred in Odaia Bogdana, where three people were also found unconscious in a cellar.
