A tragic incident occurred in the Făgăraș Mountains when a 66-year-old man fell 200 meters while hiking with his daughter. He was not wearing appropriate footwear, leading to his fatal accident. Emergency services were alerted by another hiker, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Additionally, two other rescue operations took place in the area, including a 35-year-old man who got stuck and a 39-year-old man rescued by helicopter after injuring his leg. Authorities emphasize the importance of proper equipment and caution, especially in icy conditions, as accidents tend to increase in winter.
