Two young men from Brașov were placed in preventive detention for allegedly forcing a man to give them money and purchase goods on credit. The incidents occurred in September, where the suspects, both 19, threatened the victim multiple times for money. They reportedly entered the victim's home and used violence to obtain sums of 300 and 700 euros. Additionally, one suspect allegedly coerced the victim into taking loans for electronic devices that the suspects later claimed as their own. Police suspect the duo misused the victim's personal data for these purchases. Following investigations, authorities conducted searches at three locations, seizing goods and cash linked to their criminal activities. The suspects are facing charges including robbery, qualified robbery, attempted robbery, blackmail, computer fraud, and deception.
