Doi români, arestați în SUA după ce ar fi furat bijuterii prin „metoda îmbrățișării”

New York police have identified at least 14 cases involving Romanian suspects stealing expensive jewelry. Two Romanian citizens were arrested for using a method that involved approaching victims and hugging them to discreetly remove their necklaces. The suspects, aged 26 and 28, are accused of theft and will be deported back to Romania. Investigators believe there may be more victims who have not reported the thefts. The method has been linked to incidents in the Tri-State Area and Maryland, with elderly individuals being the primary targets. Police have released a video reconstruction to warn the public.
