Doi români, acuzați de furturi în serie în SUA. Metoda „îmbrățișarea” ar fi fost folosită pentru bijuterii de mii de dolari
Two Romanian citizens were arrested in the U.S. for stealing valuable necklaces using a method involving approaching and hugging victims. Investigators have linked at least 14 incidents to their actions and are looking into more potential victims. The suspects, a 26-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man, would ask for directions before the woman would hug the victim and discreetly remove their necklace. The police have created a video reconstruction of the method to warn the public, especially the elderly, who have been targeted in several areas. After their arrest, the suspects were handed over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and are expected to be deported to Romania.
