Two incidents occurred during military flight exercises near Buzău airport on August 3 and 4, involving a parachutist injury and another who became entangled with an AN-2 aircraft. The first incident involved a 33-year-old soldier who suffered a coccyx fracture during a parachute landing and was treated at a local hospital. The second incident involved a soldier who, after jumping from the aircraft, found himself hanging for about two minutes before safely landing. An internal investigation has been initiated to determine the circumstances of the second incident.
